Danny Wyatt was licensed as a Motor Vehicle Damage Appraiser by the North Carolina Department of Insurance in August of 2003. He began assessing damaged, repaired vehicles for diminished value in October of 2003. He has over 25 years of auto body repair experience along with used car sales experience. He was first recognized as an expert witness on vehicle value in Mecklenbury County Super Court, Charlotte, North Carolina, on July 26, 2004. Since 2004, he has been recognized as a diminished value expert witness in other North Carolina Courts.

 

His credibility as an expert witness on vehicle diminished value has enabled him to be retained by both plaintiff and defense firms in North Carolina. He has been a Consultant to legal professionals in the states of Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, New York, Massachusetts, South Carolina and Texas.

Dan Wyatt has appeared twice as a guest of attorney Tom Woodruff's internet talk show "Meeting by Accident" aired by Voice America.com.

Dan Wyatt has over 17 training certificates by the Inter-Industry Confereence Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR), which gives him the "Individual Platinum Training." Other training has been in the retrieval of "crash data information" hosted byAccident Reconstruction Network (ARC Network) with class room training by the Collision Safety Institute (CSI). This training has assisted Dan in determining repairs needed to a damaged vehicle along with recognizing compromised repairs for crash worthiness.
